SecLeaf is a student-first cyber security community. We bring learners together from around the world and put them in front of the people who do this work for a living.
Why we exist
The gap between reading about a vulnerability and actually understanding it is wider than anyone admits. Most material is either a headline with no mechanism, or a paper written for people who already know the answer.
Worse, most students work through it alone. There is no one to ask the question that feels too basic to post, and no way to tell whether the thing you just read actually landed.
How we run it
Everything we do is built around three formats that reinforce each other:
- Expert-led sessions: practitioners walking through real work: red team tradecraft, digital forensics, API security, threat intelligence. They stay for the questions.
- Hands-on workshops: guided, practical builds where you follow along with your own tools running rather than watching a recording.
- Capture the flag: our own CTF platform, built around the same weaknesses the sessions cover, so the theory has somewhere to land.
Who it is for
Students who are learning this properly, and practitioners who already are. There is no fee, no gate and no assumed background. We only expect that you are willing to try things and get them wrong first.
